Game Day: Playing for Your Future

Game Day was an event hosted by the STEAM Leadership Series and sponsored by the San Diego Foundation. Other local groups also contributed to this huge collaboration, including VR Club. The event was essentially a career fair for 850 students from Clairemont High School and other San Diego schools. The goal was to provide informative talks and experiences from San Diego’s leading executives, entrepreneurs, and video game companies. They wanted to broaden exposure to careers in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math). The VR Club was there to provide demos on the HTC Vive, give talks on virtual reality, and show off some HMDs.
